Compare Protein Powder Prices in India.
Every protein powder we track, whey and dairy free, with live prices from India's most trusted retailers in one place.
Protein powder is not one product any more. Whey is still the biggest shelf, and it comes as concentrate, blend, isolate and hydrolysed isolate. Next to it now sits fermented yeast protein, a dairy free, lactose free complete protein that suits vegans and anyone whom whey does not agree with. They all do the same job, which is adding protein to a day that is short of it, and the honest way to compare them is the same too: what you pay for each gram of protein, not for each tub or each scoop.
That number moves more than most people expect. Scoop sizes run from about 30 g to 45 g, protein per scoop from about 20 g to 30 g, and the same tub can differ by hundreds of rupees between retailers on the same day. Whey2Much tracks every protein powder below across India's top retailers and works out the live cost per gram of protein for you. Pick the kind that suits your diet and your stomach, then buy it where it is cheapest today.

Common questions
About protein.
Which type of protein powder is best?
For most people, whey. It is the most studied, mixes easily and is a complete protein. Whey concentrate is the best value, isolate is worth paying more for if lactose bothers you or every calorie counts, and fermented yeast protein is the pick if you avoid dairy altogether. The best tub within any type is the one that costs least per gram of protein from a brand you trust.
What is the difference between whey and fermented yeast protein?
Whey is made from milk, so it contains some lactose, especially as concentrate. Fermented yeast protein is made by fermenting food grade yeast, so it is dairy free and lactose free, and it is still a complete protein with all nine essential amino acids. Whey has a much larger body of research behind it, while fermented yeast is the newer option for vegans and anyone sensitive to dairy.
How much protein powder should I take a day?
Only enough to close the gap between your daily protein target and what your food already gives you. People who train regularly need roughly 1.4 to 2.0 g of protein per kg of body weight a day. One scoop gives most people 20 to 30 g, so the right number is often one scoop, sometimes two, and for some people none.
How do I compare protein powder prices fairly?
Divide the price by the total protein in the tub, which is protein per serving times servings per tub. That gives cost per gram of protein, the only number that compares a 1 kg tub with a 2 kg one, or a 30 g scoop with a 45 g scoop. Whey2Much works this out live on every product page and in every side by side comparison.
Is protein powder safe to take every day?
For healthy adults, yes. It is food in powder form. If you have kidney disease, diabetes or high blood pressure, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are buying for someone under 18, speak to a doctor first. Choosing a brand with a valid FSSAI licence and credible third party testing matters more than the type of protein.
